We hope you love this collaboration as much as we do! Kitchen Cat Textiles was super excited to team up with Eleanor Rosafelt to create these one of a kind cosies.
Meet Roswen - also know as Rose. She was born in Wales and took each adventure head on. Moving across an ocean, Alberta then Northern Ontario, to raise a family and set down their roots. A collector of pretty broaches that her granddaughter now cherishes. Suzanne has honoured her grandmothers by choosing their names for her daughters middle names!
Tea just tastes better when made in a teapot. I grew up with my Mum using the very traditional Brown Betty, and Betty always had a lovely wardrobe. When ever that tea pot came out so did one of the many cosies that my Mum had.
So dress up your teapot in style with a new cosy. This design will accommodate a 4 cup tea pot and go up to an 8 cup (pictured). This style allows for the tea to be poured without having to remove the cover. There is a layer of cotton quilt batting and poly batting to help retain heat, the inside is a black cotton to hide the drips and dribbles! And don't worry about the flowers...they can be easily removed when you have to wash the cosy.
The cosy is 10' square (when flat). The bottom is secured with an elastic and the top has a ribbon to allow for ease of use and variation in size.
